Unlike other proofreading companies, we do consider applications from graduate students holding only a bachelor’s degree and without formal editing qualification. However, we have strict criteria for our editors. You must be a native English speaker, hold at least one academic publication in a reputable journal, have graduated from a leading university and can demonstrate that you are able to proofread and annotate documents at the highest level of proficiency.

Currently we are recruiting freelance independent contractors to perform proofreading work for Eneo. To apply, you must meet all legal and taxation requirements to work as an independent contractor in your country. We offer highly competitive rates in comparison to other freelancing platforms or proofreading companies, and our contractors are truly independent—they decide when and how much to work. We do not assign work to our contractors.
